The new house that we moved into last fall has two of these beautiful yellow-green shrubs in its yard. We wonder what they are. Can you identify them for us? The leaves are almost round and are very bright yellow-green. The edges of the leaves turn reddish-orange in the fall. They are strikingly beautiful. They took a long time to leaf out in spring. We waited to see if any branches were dead. Some branches did finally branch out, but only closer to their bottom. Maybe branches had to be shortened to the point where another small branch grew out of it. (We also had to cut a lot of dead wood from the center. I believe they had been neglected.)
