Good afternoon, So far, I've been unable to identify the grass in the attached photo. The plants in the lawn went to seed almost two months ago and the plants in the photo are the only available examples. The seeds mature as shown and do not extend (on spikes) beyond the plant. New plants are already growing. It appears that only one photo can be attached so I'll send a second email with a new plant photo. Thanks Bob Hutchison
It appears in the pictures to be crabgrass. Under separate cover I fill send you a great fact sheet we have on control of crabgrass. J
