Spotted leaves

My crabapple trees are dropping spotted leaves. By August my tree will be bear.l sprayed the tree in the early spring but that has not helped. Can you help me out. Thanks Steve

Crabapples are subject to several fungal diseases such as rust, scab, etc. These diseases are unattractive but do not kill the tree. You will have to identify what you are dealing with.
The best recommendation is to plant resistant varieties. It is too late to spray a fungicide this year. Rake and destroy any fallen leaves and fruit. If you want to spray, it will have to be next season. You may need more than one application depending upon what you are spraying for.
