What seeds can be planted now?

Asked June 17, 2015, 11:05 PM EDT

Can I plant tomato, bell pepper, lettuce, strawberry, zucchini seeds now, or is it too late? If not these seeds, what seeds can i plant at this time?

At this point it is likely too late to get much of a harvest from planting either peppers or tomatoes by seed. Strawberries are perennials so, while you might not get much of a harvest from seeds planted this year, presumably you would in future years. Most strawberries are transplants (i.e., you plant seedling plants, not seeds). It is definitely not too late to plant zucchini.
