We assume you are referring to a vegetable garden. There are no easy answers for controlling wildlife in an edible garden. Depending upon your plantings and locations you may need to use a variety of control options. You may want to consider fencing options. If you are not able to install fencing you may want to hang bars of soap among the plants to deter deer. Repellents in general wear away in the elements and need to be replaced with another type of deterrent because the deer get used to them. Another option is to cover the plants with floating row cover.
