herbicide and dogwoods

Asked June 9, 2015, 10:41 PM EDT

my dogwoods have been hit by a broadleaf herbicide, not directly just some spray drift. Would they benefit if I cut them back now ? They were growing great .

Outside United States trees and shrubs pesticide safety pesticide drift herbicide damage flowering trees horticulture

Hi
There's really not enough information in your question to give you a good answer. Do you know what product was used? If you aren't experiencing continued death of the trees then cutting out the damaged portions is probably not a bad idea.

Thanks for your reply. After a couple of days of leaves curling up the dogwoods are now recovering.

Good! They should be fine then.
