Why do some cumbers on the same vine (a self pollinating, parthenocarpic type), turn brown and shrivel up, while others grow just fine? There will be several just fine and several that are dying as described on the same vine. they are being grown in a greenhouse, hydroponically.

We cannot say for sure what you may be dealing with. Could be nutritional, stress. etc. We care not experts on hydroponics. Please contact your extension for more information http://williamson.agrilife.org/home/contact/
