Bing/Royal Ann Cherry Tree Leaves Curling

I have two semi-dwarf cherry tree's, one a Bing the other a Royal Ann. The leaves at the tips of the branches are curling up and dying, moving down the branch about 4-6 inches now. I am seeing small black bugs (aphids?) on the underside of the affected leave. What should I use to control these?

Second image is out of focus but you have the right diagnosis as it is typical of the black aphid. Damage can be very nasty and all the honey dew makes it real stick and gooey underneath.
