Mr. Portz,

There are several good soil testing labs in Texas, but if you would like to send your sample to the Texas A&M Soil, Water and Forage testing lab, we can help. We have sample forms and sample bags at our office in McKinney at 825 N. McDonald, Suite 150. The cost to run a routine analysis is $10. That will give you your soil pH and nitrogen, phosphorous and potassium levels. You can also download the soil sample form from the Texas A&M Soil testing lab at http://soiltesting.tamu.edu if you don't have a chance to come by our office. Our office hours are Monday-Friday 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
