How can I convince my employer of the right way to water a plant?
I have tried to explain to my company that a sprinkler running 4 hours over tightly packed nursery shrubs and flowers, plants on stacked carts, and plants in hanging baskets does not water deeply enough. Some plants are 3 to 10 gallons. Also tabled plants with 2- to 3-inch pots may need more than one watering a day. Water running down the side because of being too dry does not water roots properly. Are there any papers to print at home that will show the right way to water a plant?
