I have recently put in a raised garden bed. What type of soil will work to grow tomatoes`/

Tomatoes like most commonly grown vegetable plants grow well in many types of soils. If you are purchasing soil you will want to ask for a current soil test report before purchasing. Tomatoes grow best in nearly neutral soils with a pH of 6.5 to 7.0, with good drainage. If you are working with native soil you will want to amend with a compost to increase the organic matter content.
I have provided few links that should help choose or amend your soil.
