Use Triclopyr (Weed-B-Gon purple label) only on your lawns. Don't use in vegetable or flower gardens as the chemical will damage broadleaf plants. This product works best when the violets are blooming or when the plants are actively growing. The old fashioned way of weeding on your knees or hoeing is best for the gardens.
