Baltimore County Maryland flowers plant identification dicentra bleeding heart

This is an old fashioned bleeding heart. (Dicentra spectabilis) The drooping stem will eventually look like a string of little pink hearts with white 'drops' falling from them. They are a beautiful sign of spring. Enjoy.

Thank you! The tiny flowers do indeed look like hearts this morning :)
