Pathway

Asked March 19, 2015, 4:09 PM EDT

What is the best material to use on a garden path that our dog travels a lot and mulch will not stay put? I have considered decomposed granite but I thought might be tough on her feet. She is quite rambunctious and slides to a stop chasing sticks.

Hello,

Decomposed granite should suit your needs.

However, there are different types of material and proper procedures are needed in setting it out and maintaining it.

Please consider contacting Keller Materials for this process.

David, thank you for your response. I considered decomposed granite but thought it might be tough on a dog's feet. What do you think? She runs onvthe path a lot.

I think decomposed gravel should be fine, but ask the folks with Keller materials too.
