The answer to that question should be reflected in the "zoning plan" component of the Milton Township Master Plan, which should be updated first. I am not trying to say it is a good, or bad, idea. The point is the reasons to do so need to be thought out and explained.
Remember, in Michigan, substantive due process means land use regulation needs to focus on public purposes tied to health, safety, and welfare; the actual regulation has to have a direct connection to the public purpose; and the regulation needs to be the minimum necessary to accomplish the task.
