Apple Growing Areas

What are the primary apple growing areas in Colorado? What about the southeast part of the state?

It looks like the plains area of eastern Colorado is not well suited to fruit production. I suspect that they have the issues with early dormancy breaks and frost pockets that are more of a problem on moderately rolling land, like the plains. Pueblo is the most SE location. Most orchards are west of I-25.
