I pulled up my calla lily and canna lily bulbs this past fall. When should I put them back in ground? And can I leave them in the ground over the winter

You can plant the bulbs after the danger of frost is past. In our area this is usually around or after Mothers Day. These bulbs are not hardy and will have to be stored indoors over the winter. Lift or dig bulbs after the foliage begins to turn yellow in early fall, usually after a frost, but before the soil freezes to bulb level.
