It's a pest question

Dear Sir/Madam,

I found some updated information.

Bird mites cannot live on humans, they will bite and irritate humans, but assuming the absence of birds they will not live for more than 6-8 weeks, so it’s a self-correcting issue over time. If it lasts longer then it’s 1) not bird mites, 2) there is a bird somewhere.

Bird mites do not enter the blood stream or feed successfully on humans. They are not known to travel around successfully on humans.

I hope this helps a bit more.
