What should we do about the emerald ash borer damage we found?

Asked February 22, 2015, 8:29 AM EST

We have found emerald ash borer damage on one tree on our 11 acres in Jefferson County, Kentucky. It looks like the bark was chiseled off in 1" x 3" strips. We also see 1/4" to 3/8" diameter holes. This is the only tree we see damage on so far. Please advise us of what to do.
