Can you identify the two weeds in my garden bed? I think the one in the foreground with small smooth leaves is chickweed but I don't know the one in the middle with larger, hairy leaves. Thanks

The weeds in the photo look like chickweed and there are several types. The two most common are common chickweed, Stellaria media and mouseear chickweed, Cerastium vulgatum is a perennial with hairy stems and leaves. Stems root at the nodes and can form dense mats or mounds of stems and leaves. See our website for more information http://extension.umd.edu/hgic/common-chickweed
