Some reasons for little fruit are too much nitrogen fertilizer or improper pruning. Grapes are generally pruned when they are dormant, over winter or in early spring before they leaf out. Begin by viewing our information on grapes for cultural information as well as pruning. It may be helpful to view other publications for pruning techniques
