Aflatoxin is fungal organism that grows on a wide assortment of grains. Corn is most common carrier in the feed grains. Peanuts and peanut butter is a common host in the human diet. It is toxic to most animals if the level is high enough. The levels that can be safely fed depends on the animal specie and maturity. It is not use as a pesticide. you can review the literature on our eXtension site or look at the document on our University of Missouri site.
