I have brown dry tips at the end of some leaves. Is this a problem? Should long leaves be supported with stakes, etc.?

Hello, and thanks for using the Ask an Expert System,

I am afraid that I cannot answer your questions without more information about your plant. A good start would be to know the kind of plant you are asking about.

I suggest that you contact a master gardener in your area. You can contact Allegheny County Penn State Master Gardeners by way of Gardenline. Gardenline is a free service offered through the Penn State extension office to help Allegheny County residents with gardening questions and concerns. You can find contact information at http://extension.psu.edu/allegheny/programs/master-gardener/gardening-hotline
