Hammered Club Aluminum Label

Asked November 5, 2014, 1:56 PM EST

I have a set of the Hammered Club Aluminum Cookware. They still had the label on the inside of each pot, being there for about 60 years. Finally got them off, however there is a trace of where they have been, no sticky residue, just a trace (darkening) of where they were. Any idea how to get that out?

I'm not real sure what you have, but if it isn't sticky that is always good in my book.

Try something acid, like vinegar. That usually changes the darkness of pans to shine. Dap some vinegar on a cloth and wipe it down or pour it straight in the pan and wipe with a cloth or paper towel. Then you can rinse with water.

Let me know if this works.
