No sound in my notebook.

Asked October 26, 2014, 7:18 AM EDT

By mistake I have uninstall the sound and wave Microsoft kernel mixer in my Lenovo 3000 C200 laptop with an Intel Celeron M processor. Actually I was traying to correct a warning sign besides the hardware devices name, at the device administrator.
I have no sounds but some beep when a warning is displayed, or when some keyboard keys are pressed.
No playback of music in Windows Media Player with a error warning sign.
The small loudspeaker sign close to the time indicator dissapeared.
Also dissapeared the name of the device (sound and wave Microsoft kernel mixer) from the hardware devices admInistrator list -sound, video and games item.
I have intented many solutions but the device woun´t show up.
OS Windows XP.
Thanks from now for your help.

Sorry for the delay in answering.

Here is a suggestion:

Go to the Lenovo site and re download and install the factory audio drivers for that model.

That'll usually fixes most of these types of problems.
