My husband and I recently put an offer in on a house and the sellers accepted. We realized some areas would need to be painted before the appraiser came. We covered any exposed or peeling paint that was on the exterior of the house, but decided to paint the untreated wood trim surrounding the doors and windows inside a sunroom that is fully inclosed. Was this a mistake? I'm worried that the sellers may get angry. Does bare wood trim that is inside need to be painted? ws

Bare wood should be sealed especially around windows. You can seal it with a clear sealer or paint.

Hope this helps.
