Vegetable crop pricing

Asked October 2, 2014, 11:49 AM EDT

I am looking for resources to help price vegetable crops grown organically to be sold to local restaurants. Ex: kale and zucchini

Dallas County Texas

I do have some resources to answer this question and would be happy to talk with you by phone. The quick answer is that restaurants will typically pay a premium of 5-25% over wholesale prices for locally grown organic certified produce. Restaurants will generally want a price per pound number and will want delivery at a convenient time.
