I live in Dover DE and bought 2 ficus trees which have done so well living outside on my deck. My question is will they over winter outside, or in an outdoor screen rm?

Most Ficus trees are native to tropical and sub tropical climates. They are not hardy here and will not survive the winter outdoors or an outdoor room. Indoors they do best in normal room temperatures in bright medium light. You did not mention what type of ficus you have and some can be known for dropping their foliage when moved from location to location.
