Moved to S TX, Hondo area, a year ago. Planted a miho Satsuma orange. It has 6 green oranges on it. What indicators should I see to tell me that they are ready to pick and eat?
When they are completely orange? This starts as early as late October. But the longer the fruit can stay on the plant, the sweeter they become throughout the winter months.
