Horse turnout

Hello, I am working on taking a fallow piece of land and making it a horse paddock. How do I make sure there are no poisonous plants in this area?

Keep the area mowed and make sure the horse has some hay to eat. It can be first cutting grass hay; it does not need to be second cutting. You can do some research on poisonous plants but usually horses that are not hungry avoid undesirable plants. If this is just an exercise paddock, the horse still wants to munch on something. Horses with nothing to do, like munch, get into trouble.
