What's this flower?

These flowers have appeared out of nowhere on our flower bed and I am wondering what they are. They are quite tall, some are over 6 ft tall, some are white, some are pink...

These plants are Cleome, or "spider plants" - an old-fashioned favorite. They are annuals, but seed prolifically and it's not highly unusual for them to "magically" appear - even if you never planted them. Wind, birds and other vectors can move the seeds around quite a distance. Here is a video that describes this rather nifty plant:
