Hi, I have a Condo in Ocean City (ocean front). I have been getting these very small black bugs in my Condo. They come from the sliding glass door (I think). I have wooden floor (over concrete). These bugs can climb the wall and can get into food. There are hundreds of them sometimes. They are like a small ant, but I don't think they are ants. Again, they are black. They don't seem to "fly", but crawl around and can get on the furniture, obviously on the floor, in cabinets, and on the walls. How can I identify these little bugs? What do you suggest regarding a reason to eliminate them permanently? Thank you, Gary Smith

Hi Gary

Ants have a distinctive head, thorax and abdomen with a wasp waste, and they can be very large or very small. here is a fact sheet on ants:http://extension.umd.edu/sites/default/files/_docs/programs/hgic/HGIC_Pubs/HG7_Ants.pdf from your description, they sound a lot like a small ant. please check to see if they fit the fact sheet description. their antenna are also bent in a right angle.
