I have zucchini which have gnaw marks on them from an animal. Is it safe to consume the unmarked part raw and to freeze to cook later in soups? Thank you!

I can't find information that specifically answers your question. I think that you should not eat the zucchini raw. If you remove and dispose of the damaged part and freeze the remaining portion for cooking later I believe it would be safe. I would guess that the damage is from a squirrel but can't say for sure. The old saying "If in doubt, throw it out" is good advice.
