I am trying to find out if the mosquitoes that we have on our property are the Asian tiger mosquitoes. They are big, black with white stripes on their legs and are very aggressive.

Asian tiger mosquitoes have black and white stripes on both the body and legs. They are usually smaller than the native mosquito. They are very aggressive. If you can, capture one or two in a bottle and put some rubbing alcohol in with them to kill and preserve them. Then send them to ODA, Plant and Pest Diagnostic Clinic, 8995 E. Main St., Reynoldsburg, OH, 43068. The lab can give you a definite identification on them.
