I'm looking for a flowering ground cover plant. Considering periwinkls. If I plant these close to other perennials such as peony's, lillies and hydrangeas, will they suffocate these plants? Should I keep them a certain distance away? Thank you!!

I love them, however, they do need winter protection most winters. There should not be a problem as none of these plants is a are bully. Her is a link to one of our bulletins on grround covers.
