Is it too late to plant green beans for Fall?

Des Moines County Iowa

Most green bean cultivars start to bear fruit 55 to 60 days after planting. Green beans planted in the next 4 to 5 days have a reasonably good chance of producing a crop before the first fall frost. However, an early frost may destroy the green beans before a crop can be harvested.
