Can you identify what type of grass this is?

What kind of grass is this? The pictures were taken in the spring. When cut, it looks like Bermuda turf. It has a seed pod that appears at the end of the stem only in spring.

This is buffalo grass. It is the only native turf grass for Texas. It is commonly planted in parks and other open spaces. It is very drought tolerant and requires little maintenance. Here is a link to an article about this grass: Buffalo Grass.

Think you so much.
