Found this bug in large numbers on a squash plant. Is it some type aphid?

These are older nymphs of the squash bug. Neem, horticultural oil, and insecticidal soap are effective when sprayed directly on nymphs. Adults are very difficult to kill with the insecticides available to home gardeners. For more information, see the following link. LW
