We live in NE Iowa and are Master Gardeners and Arboretum members. Two years ago we picked up a publication by UMN called "Minnesota Hardy." On page 34 of that booklet in a feature called "look to the Future," a new chrysanthemum in a "wave" from is noted as in development. Is this wave mum available yet? If not, is there some projection of when it might be available?

I don't believe the "wave" type chrysanthemums have been released (as of today) by the University of Minnesota.

My suggestion is to contact someone in the Department of Horticultural Science at the University of Minnesota concerning a possible release date. Possible contacts include John Erwin (erwin001@umn.edu) and Neil Anderson (ander044@umn.edu).
