please please help me this weed must be from another planet ,I have goats , and this is taken over my goat field ,,, I CANNOT find after searching for many hours what it is ,,,, I have sprayed it with dichlorophen oxyacetic 2-4-D ,,,, AND the weed laughs at me ,,,,it wont die

It looks a lot like a species of Artemisia, maybe Artemisia vulgaris - mugwort. or it could be one of the ragworts. The leaves would be whitish on the undersides if it is mugwort. Apparently goats will eat mugwort, but it isn't a favorite food.

Call your local county extension agent about recommended herbicides.
