Knotweed eradication

Asked July 27, 2014, 12:16 PM EDT

I know that cutting knotweed and spraying the stump with roundup pro will kill it. I've used this method successfully in the past. I've run out of the pro and the local stores don't seem to carry it. Can I use regular roundup or is there another product that I can use that might be carried in the aver wage hardware store? Thanks so much for your help!

Any of the various Roundup brands will work for this use as well as all the generic formualtions of glyphosate (the active ingredient in Roundup). Just be sure that you compare price with the active ingredient % (for example Roundup Pro is 41% glyphosate) so that you are aware of what you are buying and get the best buy for your money.
