Crocosmia Timing

Asked July 21, 2014, 1:03 PM EDT

We have a beautiful bed of Crocosmia. They are just about to the end of their blooming, and it's time to cut them back. We are wondering what we can plant in that same bed that will come into bloom as the crocosmia are dying back. Thank you!!

You might want to check out this article for some ideas: Plant bulbs this spring and summer for all year color. A couple of suggestions in there.

Dahlias may also be a good choice. Many different flowers shapes, sizes and colors that could accentuate your summer garden.

Good Luck!
