Vacuum sealing seeds

If I place my harvested seeds in a vacuumed sealed package and then remove the air will they last for long term storage ?

I would suggest air drying them first. Moisture is a big enemy of seed viability. Refrigeration is more common for long term storage, but the vacuum sealed packaging should help. Checking the packages for air leaks and spoiling would be prudent.
