Food Safety

Asked July 16, 2014, 11:49 AM EDT

I have been without a refrigerator for 3 weeks, my question is are things like olives, pickle relish, jelly, lime curd, fig butter, real maple syrup, banana peppers, worcestershire sauce, sesame seeds, and craisins still safe to eat? It will be another few days before my new refrigerator arrives.
Thank you for your help, Sharon

Sharon-

You will find a good resource at http://www.foodsafety.gov/keep/charts/refridg_food.html .

Your craisins and Worcestershire sauce, even opened, can be stored in your pantry. The other items, I would throw out. They need to be refrigerated after opening.
