at night, something is pulling and eating green tomatoes out of my garden. I suspect raccoons. Any suggestions?

It is possible you may be dealing with raccoons and/or deer, if in the area. There are no easy answers. You can sprinkle ground limestone on the foliage and tomatoes as a deterrent. You will have to reapply after it rains.
Next year you will have to consider fencing to keep out wildlife. See our videos
