Hi, I show horses at the Auglaize County Fair and I am using a twisted dogbone bit that is broken on each side of the dogbone. I wanted to know if this was a legal bit or if I have to switch to something else for fair. The bit is called a reinsman jr cow horse twisted wire. I have a picture of it attached.

Please refer to the Uniform Rules for 4-H Horse Shows for acceptable bits. See pages 21 through 26 for specific details on bits. This rule book is the standard that will be used to for all junior fair horse shows.
