After spraying an arborvitae bush for tip blight how long should the process be for recovery and should I cut off damage branches.

Arborvitae (Thuja) are not prone to any tip blight in South Dakota. We need have many arborvitae suffer winter injury after this past winter. The best treatment is to prune out any brown foliage at this time. However do not prune so deep into the plant that the branch or stem no longer has green, healthy foliage. Arborvitae do not sprout back from bare branches or stems.
