Weeping Birch

Asked June 24, 2014, 10:57 AM EDT

Is there any treatment for weeping birch trees that appear to be dying from the top down? I have noticed all of these trees (young and old) are dying the same way this spring (on my block and in several Sheridan locations). I would really love to try and save them. Any information would be appreciated.

yes and no, Bayer tree & shrub insect control. it is best y
to use in the fall but i would try some now. i have id the bronze birch borer. There is also some winter stress that is affecting some of those trees killing the tops. Keep them well watered going into the late summer and fall and fertilize them.
