All of my red pines are dying off. Needles turn brown spreading through entire tree. I have seen a lot of this in the area. Trees are 50 years old. Could it be pine borer? any cure?

There are several possible culprits among both disease and pests, but also environmental stress from the previous drought, so its impossible to diagnose from your description alone and without detailed photos or samples.

Your best option is to make an appointment for a site visit by a certified arborist, a University of Mn Extension Tree Care Advisor or a county extension agent. Here's a link that might help :
