Generally walnut trees produce volumns of fruit every year. The lack of fruit this year may bear evidence of the cruel winter of 2014. But due to the extended deep winter that we had this year trees and shrubs are not performing as to normal. Personally I have not had flowers where in previous years they would have blossomed. And in some cases plants have blossomed due to increased rainfall. Quirky year for sure. Thank you for using Ask An expert System
